Recently, I blogged about how easy it is to save a ton of money at Jo-Ann Fabrics with SnipSnap. Jo-Ann offers tons of great print coupons that you can now use your mobile phone to store and redeem. I especially like using these %40 off one non-sale item coupons:
They’re great for saving on larger home furnishing and holiday decoration items (or just that one skein of yarn you need to knit a fabulous winter hat).
But Jo-Ann is even more mobile friendly, because you can also download the Jo-Ann app for your iPhone, Android, or iPad. AND you can sign up to receive mobile text coupon offers!
Here’s the scoop:
I like the Jo-Ann iPhone app. (If you have the iPad app, you’ve got access to a lot of great extras, like shopping lists, project inspiration, and instructional videos.) You can locate any product Jo-Ann carries, purchase it online, plus share your favorites items on Facebook and Twitter. The store locator feature makes it easy to find your way to a Jo-Ann near you, which is really convenient for crafters who frequently travel (what else are you supposed to do on long car/plane/train/bus rides?) Best part? Coupons, of course! There don’t seem to be any exclusive deals on the Jo-Ann app, yet (they’re the same coupons you’ll see elsewhere) but here’s hoping the Jo-Ann iPhone app will start offering user-only deals that make it worth coming back to.
Don’t have a smartphone? No worries? You can sign up for Jo-Ann text message offers and still snag some of the store’s best deals! Want in? Just text “BEADS” to 56266 (JOANN) and receive up to three text message coupons a month. Each coupon has a unique promo code and is good for about 2-4 days (vs. the Jo-Ann app coupons, which are good for over a week and are constantly being replaced), so you have to act quickly to redeem your text savings. I got a 20% off entire purchase coupon the second I signed up to receive text deals! And yesterday I got a coupon for 60% off a regularly priced fabric purchase!
