Attention mobile couponers: Old Navy is absolutely the place you want to shop if you love to save money with your smart phone. It’s incredibly easy to use multiple mobile strategies in one shopping trip, so you end up leaving the store with more clothes for less money and way more rewards. Want to learn how to complete your cold-weather wardrobe, while saving on top of sales and earning free Starbucks to keep you warm? Don’t want to clip coupons? Just follow these four steps.
- “Like” Old Navy on Facebook. Old Navy’s Facebook page is a gold mine for mobile deals. Old Navy is one of those awesome companies that issues Facebook Offers to fans. Facebook Offers are super easy to claim – just click “Get Offer” when one pops up in your feed, and you’ll immediately receive an email coupon you can redeem from your smart phone in-store. Old Navy’s Facebook page also has a cool “Reveal-a-Deal” feature that lets you uncover a feature deal and email yourself the coupon.
- Don’t Forget to Shopkick. Shopkick is one of my favorite mobile savings apps because it pays you to shop. Open the shopkick app when you walk into Old Navy, and you’ll earn kicks just for walking into the store. Plus, you get access to exclusive in-store savings and coupons and, when you link your credit card to shopkick, you’ll earn a massive amount of kicks with your purchase. How many kicks can you earn with shopkick on a shopping trip to Old Navy? Oh, just enough to snag a $5 Starbucks card.
- SnipSnap! Make sure you SnipSnap all of those Old Navy print coupons you don’t want to die a slow death in your wallet. If you’re an Old Navy card holder, you’ll receive rewards cards after you accrue a certain amount of points from purchases. These rewards cards can be redeemed like store dollars, and you can SnipSnap your rewards so you don’t lose them, then redeem them from your smart phone. (Remember: rewards cards are loyalty coupons so, to make sure your savings stay yours, mark them private!)
- Sign up for Old Navy Text and Email Sale Alerts. When you sign up to receive Old Navy text and emailsale alerts, you won’t receive actual coupons, but you will get in on great in-store sales, so you know when to use your coupons to maximize your savings. This past weekend, I got an email alert about Old Navy’s one-day $15 fleece coat sale. I snipsnapped a 10% off your entire purchase coupon and scored the very last size small for $13.50. Old Navy email alerts are no joke: I can’t believe I got an adorable, super-warm fleece for less than 15 bucks.
