SnipSnap 2.0 Quick Tip: Are You Creating Coupon Bundles?

One of my absolute favorite new features of SnipSnap 2.0 is the option to create personalized coupon bundles. Why? Here’s Screen Shot 2012-12-20 at 12.27.08 PMmy current situation:

I’ve snipped 522 coupons and counting. That’s a lot of coupons, too many even for me to redeem in the foreseeable future. In the old version of SnipSnap, the way to keep track of your best bets was to add them to your “Favorites,” but now you can actually curate multiple coupon lists organized around category, shopping trip, or store. These coupon lists are what we affectionately refer to as coupon “bundles.” Bundles are super easy to create and incredible useful when you’re ready to hit the register at your favorite store. Here are some of my coupon bundles:

As you can see, I like to make sure I always have food coupons, wherever I go. I’m pretty proud of my “Fast Food” coupon bundle, which is chock-full of free burgers, fries, and milkshakes. Before I add any coupon to one of my bundles, I make sure that all its information (like its expiration date) is correct and that it’s a valid offer (not a single use coupon). That way, every coupon I add to my select coupon bundles should be a breeze to redeem.

Trust me, once you start using bundles to organize your favorite coupons, you’ll never want to turn back. But, if you want a short cut to having great coupon bundles at your fingertips, you can follow your friends’ coupon bundles for immediate, organized savings. All you have to do to follow a friend’s coupon bundle is open his or her profile, tap “Coupons” under the profile picture, then tap “Bundles” at the top of the screen. Tap on the bundle you want to follow and then tap “Follow.” Now your friend’s coupon bundle will appear with yours in your profile and you’ll have easy access to all his or her favorite deals.Screen Shot 2012-12-20 at 12.50.28 PM

TIP: Just like you can mark your individual coupons private, you can also mark your coupon bundles private. Simply slide the privacy setting option “on” or “off” whenever you create a new bundle or adjust an existing bundle’s settings.Screen Shot 2012-12-20 at 12.56.48 PM
