Kid Fashion That Won’t Break The Piggy Bank: Mobile Coupons + Blog Inspiration

When I was a kid, my grandmother, who was, well, a little too practical to be a fashionista, took me back-to-school shopping each year at an ancient, discount, department chain store called Clover. We would probably spend fifty dollars on inexpensive denim and matching two-piece outfits that paired oversize smocks and stretch pants (it was the early nineties). I was definitely not the best-dressed kid in elementary school, but I totally wish I had been. I think it’s pretty important to teach your kids how to style clothes and put themselves together in a way that’s creative, expressive, and polished.

However, I don’t think it’s necessary to spend a ton of money dressing your kids because, just like with adult fashion, some of the best looks come from the thrift shop. More important than teaching kids the value of personal style is teaching kids the value of a dollar, so taking your kids shopping with coupons is definitely the way to go. There are tons of kiddy and baby fashion coupons in the SnipSnap app right now. Check out this $10 off kid/baby apparel purchase for Toy”R”Us/ Babies”R”Us:
