SnipSnap’s Fabulous End of February Headlines

Screen Shot 2013-02-28 at 12.00.05 AMIt’s been a great month here at SnipSnap! This February,SnipSnap for iOS became fully Passbook-ready and SnipSnap for Android launched in Beta. And both versions of the app are getting rave reviews.

SnipSnap earned a mention as one of Women’s Health’s Best Apps for Saving Money:

Even if you tear out a coupon, that’s no guarantee you’ll remember to bring it with you when you go to the store. SnipSnap solves that problem. With the app, you can take a picture of a printed coupon and store it on your phone so you’ll be sure to have it on you at all times.

And SnipSnap for Android’s beta build won favorable reviews from Derek Walter at The App Planet.

It was one of the few apps I missed when moving from iOS to Android. For those unfamiliar with it, SnipSnap digitizes paper coupons, eliminating the need to carry most of them out shopping. While not all grocery stores or other retailers have jumped on board with scanning your phone, a number of larger retailers have done so. This makes redeeming coupons just as easy as paying for that Starbucks drink by showing your phone.

Check out SnipSnap, featured as one of TechHive’s top money-saving shopping apps:

SnipSnap (iOS; coming soon for Android): Never forget a coupon again, says SnipSnap. Just take a photo of the coupon you want to use, and SnipSnap generates a scanned version to redeem in stores. You can browse and share coupons with other users, too. The app lets you organize coupons and search for stores; it also advises you of impending expirations, and even alerts you when you enter a store if you have coupons to redeem.
