Last week, I blogged about some seriously hot mobile Memorial Day savings, like this deal I snipped for 40% off everything in-store and online at American Eagle.
I was so excited to shop AE because the discount works on clearance items, too! The clearance section in my local AE was loaded with really cute summer graphic tees, tanks, and really fabulous, high quality dresses. I picked up this stunning silk floral flutter dress; it was originally priced at $39.95, on sale for $34.99 and, with the 40% off discount, just $21. My total savings with store sales and the 40% off code: just about 50%!
Great News: American Eagle is extending its 40% off everything special through today, 5/29. You can still pick up anything and everything for almost half off in stores and online (with free shipping, to boot!). I’m in love with all of the flowing, floral markdowns, like this dandelion pleated summer skirt: originally $39.95, on sale for $29.99, just $18 with the coupon code!
Do you love shopping at American Eagle? Make sure you join AE’s loyalty card program. It’s totally free and you’ll score incentive rewards and coupons for your purchases, plus free bras at Aerie and additional savings on your birthday! During my shopping trip this weekend, with my AERewards card, I received a coupon for $10 off my next $40 purchase. I SnipSnapped it so I don’t forget to use it!

Happy Tuesday, everyone! I hope you had a fabulous, extended Memorial Day weekend. I also hope you snipped a ton of coupons and saved on eating, drinking, and enjoying the start of summer with family and friends. I had a pretty sweet, frugal weekend, too. I SnipSnapped at Olive Garden, American Eagle, and Giant and saved just about $40 in three days!
What else happened this Memorial Day? SnipSnap received an awesome shout out from technology and consumer products expert Cassie Slane, who’s been a guest electronics contributor on QVC and Philly’s Fox 29 Channel.
Cassie talked with SnipSnap CEO Ted Mann about the origin of SnipSnap, the app’s success, and what’s new on the horizon, including a Windows phone version of the app and mobile manufacturer coupons.
Integrating manufacturer coupons into the app has taken time, but with a partnership with one of the largest coupon clearinghouses in the United States, Mann hopes to have those coupons integrated into the app by the summer.
Check out Cassie’s entire article now on BestTechie and tell us, because we want to know: what kind of manufacturer coupons are you dying to see in the SnipSnap app this year?
Are you using shopkick to rack up shopping incentives you can trade for mobile gift cards? You should be! Because then you can stack your shopkick mobile gift cards with your SnipSnap mobile coupons. Today, 5/24, you can earn 200 walk-in kicks at 5 stores in the shopkick app: Target, American Eagle, Old Navy, Best Buy, and Macy’s. That’s 1,000 kicks in total, enough to immediately trade in for a $2 gift card to Target and (almost) enough for a $5 gift card to Macy’s.
Headed out to shop and collect some kicks this evening? Make sure you SnipSnap some store coupons to take with you. Check out this coupon I snipped today for 40% off everything in-store and online at American Eagle:
And this deal for an extra 15% off at Macy’s:
I love collecting kick while I’m out and about shopping. On days like today, I can earn enough to score a free drink at Starbucks and fuel my shopping spree for free! And you can’t beat 40% off at American Eagle. Summer Wardrobe: you’re about to get a whole lot bigger!
