This meal is such an amazing money/calorie saver that I kind of can’t believe it. Last night, my mom and I headed over to Olive Garden to chitchat over endless bread sticks and big bowlfuls of pasta. Even though I absolutely love eating out, I try to cool it on the extra creamy alfredo sauce when I can. Since I scored this giant free brownie mousse madness at Carrabba’s the night before, I decided to opt for a lower fat entree off of Olive Garden’s “Lighter Fare” menu. I chose the Capellini Pomodoro with grilled chicken, which ordinarily would have cost $13.45. Before we ordered, I SnipSnapped this coupon for $5 off one Lighter Fare menu item. This is a pretty amazing Olive Garden offer – most Olive Garden coupons are good for $2-$4 off of two lunch or dinner entrees, so to grab $5 off one entree is a total steal. That means you can eat a (still) giant bowl of delicious pasta for as little at $5.75 and 575 calories, with all the delicious free trimmings (Olive Garden makes the best salad and bread sticks ever). There is no language on this coupon that specifies one offer per table, so it’s possible for multiple people to SnipSnap $5 off multiple Lighter Fare meals.
If the Lighter Fare menu isn’t your thing, there are plenty of other ways to save big at Olive Garden. Right now, Olive Garden is running its 3 course (soup/salad, entree, dessert) dinner for $12.95 per person. Plus, you can always SnipSnap other Olive Garden coupons. Another great offer in the app right now is for 20% off your entire table’s lunch check:
I’ll probably be returning to Olive Garden in the very near future, because it’s really one of the very best places to catch up over a meal that leaves you feeling good all around, because you can get so much (healthy) food for very little cash.
