I’m really excited to spend much needed time with family over the Easter holiday this weekend. I’m ready for p Screen Shot 2013-03-29 at 1.34.49 PM eeps and all of my grandmother’s spring flavored cooking. I’m also a little antsy to dress up, because there’s something about Easter that demands the best dress in your wardrobe. Since I have two dinners to go to, I’ll have a little bit of shipping to do. And I’m pretty sure I’ve singled out H&M as my store of choice – because there are some extremely easy ways to save with my iPhone at H&M especially.

I have an $18 Wrapp gift card in my Wrapp wallet (there are still free $6 gift cards for H&M in the Wrapp gift store) plus I’ve also SnipSnapped this coupon for 25% off any dress. I’m loving all the cream crochet dresses at H&M right now – each is only around $35 dollars before applying any coupon or gift card.

I’m also looking at American Eagle and Express this weekend. DIY Easter Egg Dye: Kool-Aid and Simple Shaving Cream Colored Eggs with Family Frugal Fun

We’re in the final stretch! It’s almost Easter and officially spring, so that means it’s egg dyeing time. If you’re on the East coast and sick of the cold and snow like I am, you’ll probably want to dye eggs no matter how old you/your kids are, because it’s so gloomy out and the world needs more pastel. One of my favorite money saving inspiration bloggers, Maggie from Family Frugal Fun, created a DIY Easter Egg tutorial yesterday, using some super inexpensive techniques I haven’t seen before (check out Mo’ Money’s top 5 DIY Easter Egg designs here). What’s up Maggie’s sleeve? I really love her DIY Kool-Aid Easter egg dye; the concoction is just the right ratio of Kool-Aid powder to water and is perfect for people who really can’t stand that vinegar smell normally associated with egg dyes. I’m also really digging her shaving cream/food coloring marbled egg technique which is also completely no-fuss, no smell, and made out of stuff you already have in your home.
