Your Easter Dress for Less

I’m really excited to spend much needed time with family over the Easter holiday this weekend. I’m ready for pScreen Shot 2013-03-29 at 1.34.49 PMeeps and all of my grandmother’s spring flavored cooking. I’m also a little antsy to dress up, because there’s something about Easter that demands the best dress in your wardrobe. Since I have two dinners to go to, I’ll have a little bit of shipping to do. And I’m pretty sure I’ve singled out H&M as my store of choice – because there are some extremely easy ways to save with my iPhone at H&M especially.Screen Shot 2013-03-29 at 1.32.30 PM

I have an $18 Wrapp gift card in my Wrapp wallet (there are still free $6 gift cards for H&M in the Wrapp gift store) plus I’ve also SnipSnapped this coupon for 25% off any dress. I’m loving all the cream crochet dresses at H&M right now – each is onlScreen Shot 2013-03-29 at 1.32.07 PMy around $35 dollars before applying any coupon or gift card.

I’m also looking at American Eagle and Express this weekend. There are some pretty incredible coupons in the SnipSnap app this weekend – one for 40% off everything in the American Eagle store and one for up to $75 off your purchase at Express! No matter where you’re shopping for your Easter threads, have a fantastic holiday (and don’t spend more than $15 on your dress!)

The $5 Sundress: Your Budget-Friendly Spring Wardrobe

Hooray! We’re in the last few days of February. Which means March is almost here. Which means it’s almost spring! (Spring starts March 20th, FYI.)  Scarves, hats: I love you, but I’m ready to move on. I’m done wiScreen Shot 2013-02-27 at 12.48.19 PMth the darkness and the snow. I’m ready for long, warm nights and patio parties. I’m dying for barbeque.

If you want to dress frugally, the first thing you have to change about how you shop is when you shop. If you wait until the next season is in full swing, you won’t have time to pair coupons with store sales. You won’t have control over what you buy. If you shop last minute, you’ll end up buying clothes at any cost because you need them. Buy ahead, and you’ll have the luxury of purchasing pieces because you love them/need them and they’re great deals. So, when should you start shopping for your spring wardrobe? Now.Screen Shot 2013-02-27 at 12.55.03 PM

I started shopping for spring in January. That’s right! And because huge crowds weren’t clamoring around the sales rack, I was able to hand pick pieces I love at ridiculously low prices. One of my favorite places to bargain-shop is Forever 21, because you can usually score an additional 50-75% off already reduced items. I picked up some fabulous floral rompers for four bucks a piece.

Yes.

Want to do even better than I did? There’s a 10% off coupon for Forever 21 in the SnipSnap app right now, and it’s valid on any $20 purchase, so you can shop the sales rack until your heart’s content. (Want to follow all my mall coupons? Follow me in SnipSnap 2.1 and subscribe to my “Mall” coupon bundle.)Screen Shot 2013-02-27 at 1.04.13 PM

Other top picks for spring shopping? This online offer for $20 off your $100 online Urban Outfitters purchase expires tomorrow. UA has some amazing sales going on right now too and you can use the coupon on markdowns or regular price items. I’m also really into shopping at Old Navy and Express for spring. I always, always start in the sale section and work my way out from there.
