Today is a big day for SnipSnap.

We just got our hands on one of the best coupons we’ve ever received for Toys “R” Us and Babies “R” Us. 20% off an entire in-store purchase! But we’re even more excited to introduce what we’re calling “Verified” coupons.

Verified coupons are ones that we’ve worked directly with retailers or their agencies to develop and publish. These are coupons that we’ve personally tested. In some cases, they will be single-use, meaning they become deactivated after redeeming. And some will have a different redemption screen (like the example above) or other coupon rules. But the important part is that they will just work. The “Verified for In-Store Use” banner is as close to a guarantee as we can put on a coupon.

We’ve heard from more and more users that they’d like to see SnipSnap partnering with retailers this way, and that’s just what we’re doing. In addition to the Toys “R” Us and Babies “R” Us coupons, we’re also making coupons from Aeropostale and Guitar Center verified. Does this mean that every coupon from those retailers is guaranteed to work? No. If you don’t see the “Verified” banner, look to our standard success rating as an indication for how mobile-friendly the retailer is.
