We’re excited to announce that SnipSnap has joined Project Liberty, a new incubator housed at the Philadelphia Inquirer building. The program is funded by a $250,000 grant from the Knight Foundation, will last for the next six months, and is being led by Philadelphia Media Network (parent of the Inquirer, Daily News, and Philly.com), Knight, and Ben Franklin Technology Partners.

Today was move-in day at our new office, including a ceremonial ribbon cutting event with the two other incubator companies, our old DreamIt buds CloudMine and ElectNext. ReadWriteWeb and Technically Philly covered the announcement, as did our new downstairs neighbors at Philly.com.

We’re very proud to report that we’re already working closely with the Inquirer’s sales team to pitch SnipSnap’s unique approach to mobile couponing to their top pre-print advertisers and insert publishers. And we’re excited to bring as much as we can from the accelerator world — from skill share workshops to entrepreneur speaker series to hackathons — to our new office at 400 North Broad Street. If we have our way, we’ll do as much to incubate Philly Media as the other way around!
