SnipSnap on Samsung Wallet

Earlier this month marked the official launch of Samsung Wallet — the eponymous manufacturer’s first foray onto the same turf as Apple’s Passbook and Google Wallet. We see the platform as being an exciting new contender, especially on Samsung devices, which offer the promise of being able to take advantage os some proprietary hardware features (barcode beaming, anyone?). Here’s a short blurb from The Next Web about the launch:

Initially available for Samsung devices and seemingly live in the US only, Samsung Wallet can be used to store and redeem tickets, coupons, boarding passes and membership cards. Location- and time-based reminders can be set, while there is an option to receive offers and other marketing to connect users and retailers. [via The Next Web]

Right now SnipSnap and ValPak are the two main options when it comes to coupons. If you want to import a coupon into Samsung Wallet, just snip it and select the “Add to” button in SnipSnap to enable exporting.
