SnipSnap for Free Starbucks Through Valentine’s Day

Screen Shot 2013-02-07 at 12.23.25 PMI don’t know about you, but, for me, free Starbucks can be better than Christmas morning. It costs almost $5 a pop for my favorite venti frappuccino fix (that’s a lot!) and, if I’ve had a day that requires multiple trips to the barista, well, then I’ve had a day where I’ve spent more on coffee than I have on food.

This is why I get so excited about Starbucks promotions – they’re few and far between, but when they happen, like during treat receipt season, they’re pretty sweet. Yesterday, I blogged about how to get free coffee using the endorse app (this offer is now expired but will hopefully come back soon!) Today, I’m excited about the BOGO Starbucks offer in the SnipSnap app, good for one free featured drink with the purchase of a featured drink (Vanilla Spice Latte, Cafe Mocha, or Hot Chocolate). This deal is good through Valentine’s Day, every day after two PM. And you can redeem it as many times as you like! This is a great offer to use on Valentine’s Day if you’re planning a casual date.

I only blog about some of my favorite coffee deals, but you can score free coffee with a friend every day using SnipSnap. Just follow me in the new, social SnipSnap 2.1 and subscribe to my Coffee coupon bundle, or just use the search feature to search “coffee” or the name of your favorite place to buy it. It’s that simple! Using coupons to cut down the cost of your daily caffeine fix is a huge step towards frugal living. You could save over $20 a week! So start thinking about coffee this way: with smart phone couponing know-how, you should never, ever pay full price for a great cup again.

Free Wrapp Gift Cards to H&M + Jimmyjane = Free Valentine’s Day Goodies

Screen Shot 2013-02-06 at 3.17.06 PMLately, I haven’t been too impressed with the selection of free gift cards in the Wrapp app. (New to Wrapp? It’s the app that lets you send free $5-$10 gift cards (and larger paid gift cards) to your Facebook friends. Read my original review here.) Gone are the days of my free Sephora and Gap shopping sprees. Most of the free gift cards in the Wrapp app now are subscriptions and not redeemable for actual merchandise, but, every once in a while, Wrapp offers a “give some get one” promotion, where you can give free gift cards to stores like H&M and get a free gift card for yourself in return. Right now, in honor of the Valentine’s Day season, Wrapp is offering free $6 H&M gift cards to users who send free H&M gift cards to three friends (recipients must not already use Wrapp). $6 to H&M will buy you a lot. I scored tScreen Shot 2013-02-06 at 3.19.08 PMhis gorgeous dress for my mom this Christmas for five bucks with a Wrapp gift card on top of store sales. Looking for a deceptively inexpensive Valentine’s Day gift? A Wrapp gift card could get you H&M lingerie for a buck.

If you’re looking to surprise your Valentine with, ahem, something a little more exciting, you can score a free $10 gift card to Jimmyjane if you give three free $5 gift certificates to friends in time for Valentine’s Day!
