SnipSnap Free Fries at Zinburger

A couple of weeks ago, I was driving around town and saw a new restaurant called “Zinburger” thScreen Shot 2013-03-25 at 12.32.58 PMat was about to open up. “Zinburger?” I thought, “What’s a Zinburger?” I figured out pretty quickly that Zinburger is a wine and burger bar. Which meant I needed to eat there immediately.

Of course, as is almost always the case with me and print coupons, I received some deals for the new Zinburger in the mail the weekend before it opened – and then promptly lost them. So when we decided, on a whim, that Zinburger sounded like the best idea ever last Saturday, I had to do some recovery workScreen Shot 2013-03-24 at 1.29.43 PM on my phone – I discovered the very same coupons I must have thrown away with my junk mail in SnipSnap. I snipped this coupon for a free side (Zinburgers are all about the burger, so, if you want fries,  you have to order a side). Our waitress was amazing – we got to taste several wines before finding the right glass and scored a generous order of free fries before two seriously gourmet burgers. I got the eponymous “Zinburger.” It was ah-mazing.

I’m really impressed with the value of a well thought out Zinburger meal. Burgers are just ten bucks, and with $5 glasses of wine and a coupon for a free, shareable side, you can eat and drink out for $15 per person. Want to check out Zinburger with a larger party? You’ll probably want to snip this coupon for 25% off your entire purchase and save even more than I did.Screen Shot 2013-03-25 at 12.33.23 PM

Save $5 off Two Entrees at Olive Garden; Sip Free Sangria

Screen Shot 2013-03-11 at 12.48.42 AMThis past Saturday, the boyfriend was ready to die for Olive Garden. This happens every few months: the craving creeps up over a couple of days until it finally takes over, and we’re waiting in line at Olive Garden for hours on a Saturday night. Turns out, the wait is much more bearable (and, actually, kind of fun!) when you have coupons. I SnipSnapped this $5 off two entrees coupon while Dan added us to the very, very long seating list. Then I determined the savings should go toward sangria, so I hopped up to a bar stool and ordered this delicious, plump, juicy, strawberry-topped concoction for what would end up being 95 cents.Screen Shot 2013-03-11 at 12.39.07 AM

Olive Garden is seriously one of the best places to eat for cheap. My servers always accept my mobile coupons just like the print variety, so I never pay full price at lunch or dinner. Plus, the salad and bread sticks are always free, so A) you never feel like you’re missing an appetizer and B) there’s usually enough left of your entree to take home and have for lunch the next day. Olive Garden also has amazing customer service; once, my credit card got charge twice by accident while payiScreen Shot 2013-03-11 at 12.55.56 AMng for an Olive Garden feast. The error was fixed and, after I notified the customer service department, they sent me a $20 Olive Garden gift card!

Dan was very excited to pay for dinner, which ended up costing six bucks after my coupon and my gift card. It’s way more enjoyable to go out for dinner when the experience costs less than it does for two to go to Starbucks. Where else am I scoring free food this week? NexScreen Shot 2013-03-11 at 1.06.26 AMt on my list: Zinburger, which just opened a new location down the street. If you want to get in on all of my mobile meal deals, follow me in SnipSnap and subscribe to my Restaurants coupon bundle. Happy (free) eating!
